TriStar Extends Warrants

August 18, 2015

Houston, TX – TriStar Gold Inc. (the Company) is pleased to announce that an application has been approved by the TSX Venture Exchange to extend the term of 19,782,250 share purchase warrants outstanding (the "Warrants") previously issued by the Company on March 7, 2014. The Warrants were scheduled to expire on September 7, 2015, but will now expire on December 21, 2016. All other terms of the Warrant will remain in effect.

For additional information on the original issuance of the Warrants, please refer to the press release of the Company dated March 10, 2014 and filed on SEDAR.

Warrant holders are advised that replacement Warrant certificates will not be issued and that the original Warrant certificates must be presented to the Company’s transfer agent in order to effect the exercise of such Warrants.
